Diagnosis of water abstraction

A decree published in December 2011 relating to the measurement of water withdrawals and the methods for calculating the tax base for source withdrawals, obliges you (water stakeholders) to carry out specific installations intended to directly or indirectly measure water withdrawals from surface or groundwater.

These facilities must enable the effective reading of the volumes of water withdrawn, but also the carrying out of diagnostic and control operations.

To do this, the organizations carrying out these diagnoses on site must be authorized by the basin coordinator prefect.
